IHC-plus™ CASP3 / Caspase 3 Antibody (clone 31A1067) LS-B2125

detects both pro Caspase-3 (~32 kD) and the large subunit of the active/cleaved form (~14-21 kD) of Caspase-3. The large subunit of the cleaved form may appear as one or two or even as a stack of bands depending on the presence or absence of the Caspase-3 pro-domain. It is highly recommended that a maximum sensitivity ECL substrate (Femto sensitive) be used for efficient detection of this in Western blot applications.

Caspase 3 antibody LS-B2125 is an unconjugated mouse monoclonal antibody to Caspase 3 (CASP3) from human. It is reactive with human and mouse. Validated for IHC and WB. Tested on 20 paraffin-embedded human tissues. Cited in 1 publication.

Immunohistochemistry: LS-B2125 was validated for use in immunohistochemistry on a panel of 21 formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) human tissues after heat induced antigen retrieval in pH 6.0 citrate buffer. After incubation with the primary antibody, slides were incubated with biotinylated secondary antibody, followed by alkaline phosphatase-streptavidin and chromogen. The stained slides were evaluated by a pathologist to confirm staining specificity. The optimal working concentration for LS-B2125 was determined to be 5 ug/ml.
