Antiserum will specifically react with a 35 kDa cdk5 (p31) protein from human, rat and mouse tissue. No reaction was observed against other related cyclin dependent kinases. Cross reactivity with cdk5 (p31) from other species may also occur.

CDK5 antibody LS-B353 is an unconjugated rabbit polyclonal antibody to CDK5 (C-Terminus) from human. It is reactive with human, mouse and rat. Validated for ELISA, IHC, IP and WB. Tested on 20 paraffin-embedded human tissues.

Immunohistochemistry: LS-B353 was validated for use in immunohistochemistry on a panel of 21 formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) human tissues after heat induced antigen retrieval in pH 6.0 citrate buffer. After incubation with the primary antibody, slides were incubated with biotinylated secondary antibody, followed by alkaline phosphatase-streptavidin and chromogen. The stained slides were evaluated by a pathologist to confirm staining specificity. The optimal working concentration for LS-B353 was determined to be 1:500.
