PathPlus™ NOTCH2 Antibody (aa2390-2415) LS-B399

This antiserum is directed against human NOTCH 2. The peptide sequence shows 100% alignment with human, dog and chimpanzee sequence. Only one (1) amino acid difference is found in mouse and this change is non-conservative. Based on the sequence we expect this antibody to react as well with rat and mouse NOTCH 2. No specific information is available for other reactivities.

NOTCH2 antibody LS-B399 is an unconjugated rabbit polyclonal antibody to NOTCH2 (aa2390-2415) from human. It is reactive with human, chimpanzee and dog. Validated for ELISA, IHC and WB. Cited in 3 publications.

Immunohistochemistry: LS-B399 was validated for use in immunohistochemistry on a panel of 21 formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) human tissues after heat induced antigen retrieval in pH 6.0 citrate buffer. After incubation with the primary antibody, slides were incubated with biotinylated secondary antibody, followed by alkaline phosphatase-streptavidin and chromogen. The stained slides were evaluated by a pathologist to confirm staining specificity. The optimal working concentration for LS-B399 was determined to be 1:500.
