This antibody recognizes rat MHC Class 2 RT1Bu/Du and was generated in R8 rats. It crossreacts with haplotypes c, d, l, and n. Positively stains MHC class II molecules in rat strains including PVG, F334, LEW and BN. Species Crossreactivity: Mouse; recognizes mouse MHC Class 2, binding to a monomorphic epitope expressed by all mouse strains. This antibody will not react with Wistar rats as they are RT1a and this antibody is known to not react with RT1a haplotype rats.
