The NUCB2 protein was lyophilized from a 0.2 um filtered concentrated solution in 1xPBS, pH 7.4. Sterile Filtered White lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder.

Solubility: It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized NUCB2 in sterile 18M-cm H2O not less than 100 ug/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions.

Introduction: Nucleobindin-2 (also known as NUCB2 or Nesfatin) is a EF-hand calcium-binding protein. Nucleobindin-2 takes part in calcium homeostasis and is a multifunctional protein that interacts with Ca(2+) nucleic acids & various regulatory proteins in different signaling pathways. NUCB2 (Nesfatin) is localized in neuronal perikarya and dendrites of mouse brain.
