Peptide ELISA: Antibody detection limit dilution 1: 128000. Immunohistochemistry: In paraffin embedded Human Cerebellum shows specific staining of astrocytes. Recommended concentration, 2-4ug/ml. Frozen sections of Human Hypothalamus shows staining of astroglial cells. Recommended concentration, 0.01-0. 03ug/ml. Both data obtained from a previous batch (different goat). Western Blot: Approx 48kDa band observed in Human Brain (Cerebellum) and Mouse Brain lysates (calculated MW of 49.9kDa according to Mouse NP_034407.2 and Human NP_002046.1). Recommended concentration: 0.01-0.03ug/ml. Enzyme immunoassay: Sandwich-type ELISA with increasing amount of recombinant GFAP captured by a rabbit antibody. Recommended reporter concentration: 5-10ug/ml. Please note this data was obtained using a previous batch (different goat).
