Anti-Dynamin antibody is directed against human Dynamin. Anti-Dynamin antibody was affinity purified from monospecific antiserum by immunoaffinity purification. Anti-Dynamin antibody recognizes Dynamin from rat sources. Cross reactivity with Dynamin from other species has not been determined. However, reactivity is also expected from the following species based on 100% sequence homology: bovine, chicken, human, mouse and non-human primate.

Dynamin Antibody detects Dynamin which is a member of a group of nerve terminal proteins called dephosphins that regulate synaptic vesicle endocytosis. There are 3 known isofoms of Dynamin, each having several splice variants as well. Dynamin I is expressed only in neurons whereas Dynamin II is ubiquitously expressed and Dynamin III is found primarily in the testes. Dynamin 1 is phosphorylated by PKC and dephosphorylated by calcineurin. Anti-Dynamin Antibody is ideal for investigators involved in Cell Signaling, Cell Motility, Neuroscience and Cancer Research.
