Secreted protein acidic and rich in cysteine/osteonectin/BM40, or SPARC, is a matrix-associated protein that elicits changes in cell shape, inhibits cell-cycle progression, and influences the synthesis of extracellular matrix (ECM) (Bradshaw et al., 2003 [PubMed 12721366]). Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot, ELISA. Recommended Dilution: ELISA: 1:1,000 Western Blot: 1:100~800 Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage, store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
