BCL2 is integral outer mitochondrial membrane protein that blocks the apoptotic death of some cells such as lymphocytes. Constitutive expression of BCL2, such as in the case of translocation of BCL2 to Ig heavy chain locus, is thought to be the cause of follicular lymphoma. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry, Immunofluorescence, Immunoprecipitation, ELISA Recommended Dilution: ELISA: 1:1,000 Western Blot: 1:100-500 Immunohistochemistry: 1:10-50 Immunoprecipitation: 1:100-500 Flow cytometry1:100-500 Immunofluorescence: 1:10-50 Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months.
